On Saturday, August 26, 2023, members of the NPL Partner Alliance and their guests ascended on Sunny Hill Nursing Home of Will County to spend quality time with the 150 elderly residents who live there. Alliance members and their families played BINGO, distributed ice cream bars, and showered the residents with gifts from our generous partnership organizations. After the games were called and the residents returned to their rooms to prepare for lunch, The Partner Alliance gifted Sunny Hill dozens of games and puzzles to reenergize their depleted game shelves, ensuring the residents had new and exciting games and activities to play after the volunteers left. The event served as an important reminder of the NPL Partner Alliance's impact on our communities, many volunteers plan to return to Sunny Hill again.
